Shimmy Mob is an international movement to celebrate the art of belly dance while creating awareness and raising funds for local domestic violence programs. This event takes place around the world when teams dance the same choreography wearing the same shirt on the 2nd Saturday in the month of May.

The Durango Shimmy Mob works diligently during the month of May to raise awareness to prevent domestic violence and lower the statistics of abuse in our community. The Durango Shimmy Mob supports Alternative Horizons.
