2021 SDCL Great Holiday Auction

The SDCL Great Holiday Auction is our only major fund-raiser of the year. The monies raised help pay our light bill, our rent, and our general operations that are needed to serve our community.

The motto of the Soddy-Daisy Community Library (SDCL) is Elevating the 37379 and Beyond and is the first non-profit library to service our city and surrounding community. Our focus is to provide literacy/educational resources alongside social and emotional well-being.

We offer over 26,000 items available for check out including books, DVDs, Blu-Rays, books on audio, baking dishes, board games, and puzzles plus a seed library.

A variety of workshops, social clubs, events, and activities for all ages are available at your SDCL. We also provide free feminine hygiene products through our "Kit" program to those in need, both inside the library and in 6 participating middle and high schools. Food programs also work to fill the needs of those facing food insecurity.

The SDCL is the first project of the KELCURT Foundation. Our foundaton's vision is of a future where everyone shares knowledge, personal talents, life experiences and resources through equitable access to food security, the arts and education, to elevate the lives and well-being of all.

The mission of KELCURT Foundation is to elevate community spirit and guide individuals and families into self-sustaining practices, helping to eliminate food insecurities and improve overall well-being utilizing the arts, sciences, education, music and literature.
