Families in our community are invited to bid on items for our 2nd Annual Green Meadow Tiger Trot Silent Auction. Bid early and often, and remember that even if you pay full price for an item, you can feel good knowing that every dollar you spend comes right back to the GM PTO and makes a tremendous difference to all of our children!

Through generous donations, we are able to offer fantastic items that will help us raise money in the days leading up to the Tiger Trot event on May 6, 2017, when our auction will conclude live (May 13th in the case of a raindate).

As an extension of the educational process, the Green Meadow PTO a 501(c)3 organization supports the teachers and students at Green Meadow Elementary School in Maynard, Mass. The activities of the Green Meadow PTO are focused on three major areas. First, we provide enrichment materials and programs for our students and staff at Green Meadow. We typically provide two programs to each of the five grades per year (pre-K through 3rd grade). Each program cost, on average, $1,000 each. Second, we participate in fundraising programs to raise the necessary funds for supporting these programs. Finally, we are committed to building a strong Green Meadow community through communication and various activities.

The Green Meadow Tiger Trot will be held on Saturday, May 6, 2017, from 1 to 3:30 pm at Alumni Field. During the Tiger Trot, students will run, walk, skip, dance, or cheer their classmates as each grade makes its way around the track. And bidders will have a final chance at our auction, which will continue live during the event (online bidding will end the day prior to the event at 5:00 pm ET on Friday, May 5* and final bids will be taken in person at the live event). We’ll also have lots of activities for the entire family including raffles, activity stations and face painting.

*In the case of a rain date, the event will run on May 13, 2017 and bidding will be extended through Friday, May 12.
