Elks Lodge 2286 Auction for WSV Community Cottages

The proceeds from the Elks Lodge 2286 Auction will benefit the Veterans Community Cottages project. The immediate need is to raise the funds necessary to purchase the land from Flat Tops Cowboy Church in Silt, CO. Your Generous donation will help make this project possible.

 The mission of the Western Slope Veterans Coalition (WSVC) is to prevent veteran suicide by fostering a supportive community where veterans feel valued, connected and cared for, providing critical points of connection to other veterans and all veteran-related services. WSVC has partnered with the Board of Directors of the Flat Tops Cowboy Church to secure the ideal two-acre parcel designated for the tiny home community project located at the end of Grand Avenue at 1st Street in Silt, Colorado and structured as a planned unit development (PUD). Veterans Affairs (VA) consultation, education, and social services will be provided onsite on a weekly basis or as needed on demand. A 24/7/365 onsite manager residence will also ensure that residents have access to on demand support as required for safe and supported living.
