Winter Witchcamp 2017 Spell of Prosperity

We are stepping out into the unknown. It may get messy, and that is where brilliance can emerge. We trust the hard work and magic of the process. As in the past, we have set a budget and are committed to meeting our costs in a number of ways.

Fundraising will continue to happen and will support Camp in this new model in the same way the fundraising for the scholarship fund has supported Camp in the past. Instead of a single fundraising event determining which few get very small scholarships to attend camp, we trust in the hearts and commitment of our community to give what they can to make Camp happen.

This ongoing online raffle is one method of sharing the wealth of our communities - offerings of art, services, beauty; offerings of money to support our budget. We all give, we all receive. There is abundance among us. In the spirit of raffles and fundraising past, group bids, bids for others, and any combination to make the magic of matching person to offering is so very welcome!

There is an ongoing tally of where we are in meeting Camp costs available on the WWC website in order for the community to have transparent access to how close we are to our goal. Our total budget amount for 2017 is $25,000, and as of December 1, 2016 we are about 89% to the goal with pledged registrations, 1 prosperity party, and the funds raised for scholarship last year.

We are dreaming that the new pay as you can model will be sustainable over many years. We are committed to experiencing this process as a profound and transformative magical act for at least one year.

Winter Witchcamp is a five-day intensive in the Reclaiming tradition that includes trance work, healing, drumming, dancing, chanting, storytelling, and powerful energy work.

At Winter Witchcamp we seek to develop new magical skills while deepening our relationship to Mystery.

We honor the Reclaiming Tradition's core values, including caring for the environment and our families and communities, and embracing diversity of all kinds, including diversity of gender and sexual orientation.

Our Camp Intention: From Freya's Hall, Winter Witchcamp seeks to deepen our connection to the land of the upper Mississippi River. We revere and revel in the beauty and wonder of winter. As a community, we are awakening to our skills as conscious co-creators of the multiverse in order to manifest more loving, beautiful, and joyful worlds, families, clans, and camps.
