About Our Auction

Proceeds go directly to our annual Scholarship Fund. The fund underwrites scholarships each year to students pursuing degrees in wine/enology and wine business. Last year, students at each of the 4 schools (Napa Valley Collge, U.C. Davis, Sonoma State Univ. and Santa Rosa J.C.) were awarded $1750 each. In honor of our 25th anniversary, we will boost our annual contribution to these scholarships to $2500 each, a more than 40% increase! learn more at: http://wwsnapasonoma.com/scholarship-fund/

About Napa | Sonoma Women for WineSense

Women for WineSense, a non-profit organization founded in 1990, helps its members advance their careers in the wine industry, provides educational events as well as aids wine enthusiasts in developing their wine knowledge. Now celebrating its 25th anniversary in 2015, the founding Napa|Sonoma chapter offers more than a dozen wine tasting, education and networking events throughout the year as well as numerous professional roundtable events. With more than 325 members, most of whom are professionals in the wine industry, the chapter is poised for expansion, planning to introduce new programs and member benefits to commemorate their silver anniversary. Some of the new additions include a Lecture Series and Volunteer Corps as well as expanding their Scholarship Fund underwriting efforts at Sonoma State University, Santa Rosa Junior College, Napa Valley College and U.C. Davis.
