Auction Instructions:
(1) To participate in the online auction you must create a bidder account with
32auctions.com. This process is fast and easy. Once you create your bidder
ID you can bid on any item you like!
(2) Please note that if you place a bid and, win you are obligated to purchase the
item at the price designated by the winning bid.

Payment Instructions:
(1) The PILO online auction can only accept payment by check.
(2) Please make all checks payable to: Wake Forest University School of Law, with PILO in the memo line.
(3) Please mail all checks to: Budget Office, Wake Forest University School of
Law, P. O. Box 7206, Winston-Salem, NC 27109.

The Wake Forest Annual Public Interest Law Organization (“PILO”) Auction raises money to fund stipends for JD students working in unpaid public interest positions during the summer. PILO promotes Wake Forest Law's tradition of training lawyers who serve not only their clients, but also their communities. These grants give students the freedom to accept positions with organizations where they fulfill their passions while assisting the public and underserved communities. Since its inception, the auction has raised thousands of dollars and given hundreds of grants to students working on issues including immigration, environment, domestic violence, and child advocacy. Students have worked with legal aid, public defenders, district attorneys and NGOs, among others.
