W.A.G.S.inCLE Night Out "The Show Must Go On!"

W.A.G.S. 4 Kids' 5th Annual W.A.G.S.inCLE Night Out will be our First Ever Virtual Event on Friday, October 23rd from 7:00 pm until 8:00 pm!

This fun and informative event is free. However, we are asking for a donation that is meaningful to you. Registration is required for all attendees.

When you register and attend this virtual event, you'll learn about the impact W.A.G.S. 4 Kids has on our community and support our mission. Plus, you'll have the opportunity to celebrate and win awesome prizes through our online auction and live raffle!

In 2019, Working Animals Giving Service for Kids partnered 10 families with their service dogs last year, serving over 200 kids, hosted educational programming for nearly 5,000 children across 5 districts, and expanded our geographic reach by 3 counties to include South East Ohio totaling 25 counties! This work in early intervention services has been proven to help change a child's developmental path and improve outcomes for children, families, and communities. Help a child, help a family! Families benefit from early intervention by being able to better meet their children's needs from an early age and throughout their lives.

The COVID-19 pandemic has taken a heavy toll on our local community. It as emptied shelters, locked down our prison system, and closed schools. This has been hard on many of the populations that we serve – particularly those children that rely on routine and kids that are immune-compromised. COVID-19 puts them at an even greater risk and that’s why we need your help. The crisis has cancelled fundraising events across the country. Leaving Working Animals Giving Service for Kids (W.A.G.S. 4 Kids) without the tools to fund its mission of critical services, 80% of which are funded by special events and speaking engagements. In these uncertain and unstable times, we are all looking for ways to stay active and stay positive. We need donors like you in order for W.A.G.S. 4 Kids to keep critical services available to our families and service dogs in training. Please give what you can today. So W.A.G.S. 4 Kids can keep supporting our kids in need when they need us the most. They are leaning on their service dogs now more than ever to get through this confusing time. They need you now. The need doesn’t stop during a time of crisis. And neither will we.

All silent and live auction item proceeds will be used for mission critical services like food, housing, veterinary care, supplies and countless hours of professional training that go into preparing a Service Dog for placement with a child.

We are especially proud to announce this year - all fund-a-need proceeds will be used to start an all new Endowment Fund specifically aimed at forming scholarships for low-income families who need help meeting their family fundraising goals. Our goal is to make service dog services and adaptive technology accessible to all families who are currently awaiting or see such services as unattainable due to financial hardship.

Founded in 2004, Working Animals Giving Service for Kids (W.A.G.S. 4 Kids) is dedicated to providing mobility and autism service dogs for children throughout northeast and central Ohio utilizing an award-winning Ohio Department of Rehabilitation and Correction (ODRC) accredited Cell Dog Training Program.
