USA Water Ski has embraced the theme "life on the water." This lifestyle epitomizes being on the lake with your friends and family, having fun and enjoying the sun! Whether it is in the boat, behind the boat, on skis, a kneeboard or a wakeboard. Yes, we are the national organization for all wake sports and towed water sports but we are also more than that. We are a family. We are a community of people with a shared passion for living their lives to the fullest on the water. 

USA Water Ski is dedicated to promoting this lifestyle—from our elite athletes to our newest junior members. We ask you to remember the reasons why you fell in love with the sport and join us in celebrating, promoting and living life on the water!

USA Water Ski is a 501(c)(3) non-profit membership-based organization and the national governing body of organized towed water sports in the United States as recognized by the United States Olympic Committee.


USA Water Ski is a member of the International Waterski & Wakeboard Federation, the Pan American Sports Organization, the Water Sports Industry Association and the National Marine Manufacturers Association.

The largest and most active water ski federation in the world, USA-WS has a staff of 10 people and is based in Polk City, Florida. In 2014 USA-WS is celebrating 75 years of “being on the water.”
