UC CLERMONT COLLEGE STUDENTS NEED SUPPORT:
Steadily increasing costs make it harder and harder for students to afford college. Tuition, books, living expenses, and transportation all add up to a considerable burden for many students and their families. In fact, the average student graduates college $27,000 in debt and for some graduates student loan repayment will take decades. In FY14 UC Clermont awarded $163,000 in scholarships to 113 students. This made a significant impact for these students, but there were still 268 deserving students that applied and did not receive scholarship support. The need is so great, that there will never be a time that we can stop focusing on raising money for scholarships.
