Room To Live Capital Campaign

We are raising funds to renovate Ward Street Place, a 100 year old affordable housing building in downtown Nelson BC. The funds will be used to refurbish all of the 35 units, common areas, halls and replace all windows and exterior doors. We are also setting up a maintenance fund so we can preserve these rooms for the next 50 years. The cost of the redevelopment project is $690,000.

Work to replace all the windows and exterior doors was completed January 2016. We are also setting up a maintenance fund so we can preserve these rooms for the next 50 years. The cost of the redevelopment project is $690,000 and since our launch date, November 2014, we have raised $515,000, only $175,000 to go.

The online auction bidding will end on November 13th at 6:30 pm. The bidding will begin again at 6:30 pm on November 14th at the Capitol Theatre, 421 Victoria Street, Nelson BC.
