Renée Pernice Memorial Nursing Scholarship Fund

Proceeds from this auction go to the Renée Pernice Memorial Nursing Scholarship Fund at Saint Luke's College of Health Sciences. The auction is hosted by Renée's family. Renée died a victim of domestic violence in January, 2009. At the time of her death, she was 35 years old with two sons, 6 and 8 years old and a nursing instructor at Saint Luke's College of Health Sciences. Family and friends wanted to honor her memory and nursing passion, so this fund was established in the summer of 2009. Each semester the family awards a scholarship to an exceptional student with a passion for nursing and who are in need of financial assistance.

Saint Luke’s College of Health Sciences is affiliated with Saint Luke’s Hospital in Kansas City. The college is a 501 (c) (3) public charity. Located just north of Saint Luke’s Hospital in Westport, the College offers undergraduate and graduate programs in nursing.
