Worthing Raiders Season 21/22 Player Auction

By sponsoring a player, you are not just supporting the players but supporting our club to continue to support rugby at all levels.

If you have the winning bid for a player, you will have your business name or supporters name associated with that player for the entire 2021/2022 season. Other perks include:
- 2 X Invites for the sponsors lunch at a fixture TBC
- Your name/company name/brand/website link will appear on the players’ profile page on the Worthing RFC website with a direct link to your website.
- Social media mentions with player
- Player available for photos with you and your business for marketing opportunities.
- Your name/company/brand will appear on the player sponsorship page of our match day programme
- PA announcements on match days in line with the player performance.

As of 2020 Worthing Rugby Football Club will have served the local community for one hundred years, training and educating thousands of youngsters in the joy of sport, at the same time working closely with local charities and businesses, and offering wonderful facilities, disabled friendly, to the public for local events, or that ‘special day’.
We are the home of the ‘Raiders’ who rank among England’s top 50 premier rugby teams. Our picturesque grounds of 23 acres at the foot of the South Downs has six pitches which are used by age groups from 5 years to Veteran, including a large Mini Section and very successful Ladies and Girls Teams. Hundreds of youngsters, both male and female, over the years have come through the Mini Section with some becoming first class players, not only as ‘Raiders’ but as England Internationals, such as Joe Launchbury and Joe Marler, Olympic semi-finalist Ladies’ 7sRugby player Amy Wilson-Hardy plus several players in the Under 21 World Cup, definitely putting Worthing on the map. In fact WRFC was the leading club in starting an annual Mini Festival over 30 years ago when thousands of youngsters from all over the country descended for the weekend to compete.
