This month's auction is to benefit The Ferret Villa - run by Cindy and Tom Scheidt. They just took in 12 ferrets. SURPRISE- All need vetting. A lot of their rescues come from KILL SHELTERS. Tom and Cindy run their shelter out of pocket on a fixed income, with health issues of their own. They started Tower of Fun to help support the ferrets in their shelter. Tom and Cindy are ALWAYS the first to step up and help any shelter or shelter ferret in need. It's our turn to HELP them and their shelter. Following is their vet info, if you'd be able to make a donation to their HUGE vet bill. They also have a few rescues waiting for the financing for deslorelin implants. The Underground Secret Santa Society (USSS) began when we discovered that numerous shelters and rescues had ferrets on the Ferret Giving Tree that NEVER RECEIVED a package from their "Santas". Our desire was to HELP THESE FERRET'S shelters and rescues by assigning REAL Santas, so these ferrets did not miss out on the prezzies from their wish list because of a BAD Giving Tree SANTA. Thanks to the enthusiasm and generosity of our members {Agents}, our mission has expanded. Each month our members choose a NEEDY and deserving SHELTER to have a "Christmas", i.e., "Prezzys in da Paws". Our motto is, "It's NOT enough to have a stocking on the Tree, We want 'Prezzys in da Paws' ". USSS members can send care packages or donations to the shelter or the shelters' vet. This AUCTION is PUBLIC and it's sole purpose is to RAISE FUNDS for the SHELTER's often ENORMOUS VET BILLS. 100% of the FUNDS RAISED by YOU, in this Auction, goes DIRECTLY to the "featured" SHELTER'S VETERINARY ACCOUNT.
