PEI Symphony 50th Anniversary Silent Auction!

All proceeds from the PEISO 50th Anniversary Silent Auction will go towards offsetting the cost of the "PEI Symphony Day" celebrations on May 26, as well as helping to fund the organization's future programming and activities.

This year marks our 50th season! In 1967, the PEI Symphony Orchestra was established to present high quality, live orchestral music to audiences here in Prince Edward Island, to provide practical training for young PEI students to learn and perform orchestral music, and to provide gifted Island musicians an opportunity to perform with a large orchestra.

Four times a year, under the baton of Maestro Mark Shapiro, we bring together sixty musicians for our concert weekends, including professionals, students, music teachers, business people and community musicians. Our programming aims to foster growth in performers both young and mature, while presenting orchestral music that is appealing to our audience. There's nothing quite like the power, majesty and grace of a live symphony orchestra, and the PEISO is the Island's own.
