About Our Auction

Following a stroke, Marsha suffered a ruptured aneurysm and was LifeFlighted to Houston where she was rushed in to surgery, then in Critical Care ICU for over a week. She slowly tried to improve, but had a few minor complications and setbacks, such as vasospasms and critically low sodium levels. Immediate and ongoing interventions were needed for these and other complications. After removing the drain tube from her brain, her pressure would build back up and cause her adverse symptoms, but after 3 painful spinal taps to drain more spinal fluid, they got it under control. Unfortunately, she has 2 more aneurysms which will require treatment at some near point in the future, as well.
During her 18-day stay at Hermann Memorial, she was eventually moved to a regular room and discharged. Her medical bills mounted daily, some of which is not covered by her insurance, and 20% of which she is responsible for, on top of her deductible. So we are holding this silent auction in conjunction with several other fund raising events to assist her with her bills. As a great grandmother on disability, she needs our help more than ever.
We hope you find something in our auction you just can't live without while helping someone in need. If not, feel free to check out our other fundraiser at:
