About Our Auction

This year would have marked the 26th year for our Annual Fashion Show and Silent Auction. Sadly, we had to make the difficult decision to cancel the event due to the ongoing spread of Covid-19.

Now, KDCDC looks to host an event we would have never thought possible before - an ONLINE SILENT AUCTION!
And we want you to JOIN US!

Starting October 15 and ending October 19, we will host a virtual silent auction with items ranging from jewelry, home goods, food/spices baskets, sporting events/special attractions, gifts for the family and MORE!

By participating in our Online Silent Auction: The Future is Bright, you will be directly investing in the children in our program.
You will EMPOWER children by providing a quality beginning to their education that will positively impact their future and the future of our community.

About King's Daughters Child Development Center

King's Daughters Child Development Center (KDCDC) is a non profit child development center. Opened over five decades ago as the King's Daughters Day Home, the heart of the mission of the center today remains the same: In service and faith, we nurture children in an engaging learning community regardless of income. As a United Way supported, nonprofit child care facility, KDCDC annually serves approximately 100 children, from infants to five years old and 15 school-age children during the summer months. We scholarship over $300,000 in student tuition annually by utilizing a sliding scale based on income and by accepting state child care certificates for families who qualify. Families pay weekly fees on a sliding scale based on income. We serve all families with no restrictions.

Our programs have empowered thousands of lives by fostering a love for learning and preparing children for school and life. King's Daughters relies on the generous support of individuals and organizations to continue funding our programs and upholding our mission: nurturing children in an engaging learning community, regardless of income.
