About Our Auction

The Jaques Art Center serves as a cornerstone of Central Minnesota's community of aspiring, emerging and experienced artists. Visitors from around the globe contine to enjoy time spent in our art galleries and gift shop. Many Jaques enthusiasts make a pilgramage to the art center to view the large collection of original wildlife art created by master painter, Francis Lee Jaques, who grew up not far north of our art center in Aitkin County, Minnesota. The Art Center will use auction funds to preserve this collection and the 1911 historic building that houses it. We hope you enjoy our auction and tell your friends about it. Fund raising has been difficult during the past year and additional resources are needed to keep the Jaques Art Center as an essential part of the arts in greater Minnesota.
