HOPEful Summer 2015

HOPEsudbury has teamed up with Camp Cody once again to offer a HOPEful
Summer on beautiful Lake Ossippee, NH. Camp Cody has gifted (3) two week
camp sessions to the lucky bidder(s) during HOPEsudbury’s on-line auction
taking place on January 25th and 26th.
All proceeds from this event will go directly to HOPEsudbury which supports The
HOPE Fund as well as non-profit organizations locally, nationally and globally.

After the tragic events of September 11, 2001, people in Sudbury were moved to take action to help others in need. The idea caught on. HOPEsudbury was born—a diverse group of residents, town employees and business people—young and young at heart—working as a community to help those in need of support, encouragement and financial assistance.

Our signature program, The HOPEfund, is a valuable source of short-term financial assistance for local individuals and families with emergency or unexpected financial need. The Fund has distributed over $1million since it was established in 2002.

2022 saw many changes for HOPE: record distributions due to unprecedented need at home, rapid pivots to secure diversified funding sources, and, finally the end of an era with the last HOPE Telethon.

2023 has brought exciting beginnings: fresh Board members, increased community outreach (especially in collaboration with SPD/SPS), and the launch of a new community assistance program, HOPE Meals. We are embracing these next steps as we strive to best serve our community and HOPE you'll stick with us to see what's coming!
