Twelve Years On Air For www.homegrownradio.org

Homegrownradionj.org is embarking upon its 12th year of existence. The producers and disc jockeys at the radio station are dedicated to the preservation of a large, eclectic selection of music as well giving air time to a wide array of highly regarded local talent from in and around the New Jersey area. We cater largely to an audience that appreciates the varying line-up of live acts that we are able to give air time to. Homegrownradio is almost completely listener supported and doesn't cater to any pressure from corporate entities. Therefore, we play what we want, commercial-free, and what you want to hear.

www.homegrownradionj.org is comprised of a group of dedicated volunteers whose love for music is important enough to exhibit a consistent drive to get their brand of programming out there. We have been involved most recently with a station drive to help the local Elks Club Post We also support local musicians and provide an outlet for these lesser known people to exhibit their music. We also participate and man a booth at local NJ events, as well as Boonton's First Friday, where we welcome guests and present live music all evening at the radio station's main location.
