About Our Auction

With donations outside the auction, plus the auction and donations given here, we raised $32,781.63!!! THANK YOU so much for your generosity!!!

Actor Kristoffer Polaha, and new board member, invited his actor friends to create paintings as a fundraiser for World Water Day in 2016. #ArtInAction has become an annual event in honor of World Water Day. This year Bryce Dallas Howard, Scott Haze, Mamoudou Athie, Kristoffer Polaha, Stana Katic, Jill Wagner, Shiri Appleby, Britt Robertson, Jensen Ackles, Rainn Wilson, Austin Basis, and Reggie Austin are participating! Pictures of the artwork will be available on April 15. The auction is live April 15-18.

SHIPPING: Because of the actors' varying schedules, please allow up to 60 days before the item ships, and then about 2-3 weeks for delivery with slowed shipping speeds due to Covid-19. You will be notified when your item ships. The cost is a shipping & handling fee.

OTHER OPTIONS: If artwork is out of your budget, you can donate in honor of an actor at www.herartsinaction.org/shop, select the donation amount, and then the actor's name under Program. You can also donate here on 32auctions, but you can't give in honor of an actor. Or you can purchase a copy of Nanou's Promise: A Journey Beyond Hauling Water by Sarah Drake or the audio-video narration of Kristoffer Polaha reading the book.

FUND USE: June 2021 is the 10th anniversary of Sarah's first trip to Burkina Faso. To celebrate, we are hoping to raise $25,000 to go build one water well and latrines, purchase a machine for the women to prepare produce for sale, and build a site for the product's sale. Additional funds would pay for scholarships and school supplies for girls in Burkina Faso and Sierra Leone and art supplies in Minnesota.
