Grayson & Jessica Lioi Fundraiser

On October 28th Jessica Allan Lioi was with her four children and were in a horrible car accident, her oldest, Grayson tragically did not survive. Her other 3 children had some cuts and bruises. Jessica was severely injured and is in ICU on life support. She was in a coma for 8 days and has opened her eyes and seems to understand some things but only partially responds to commands and it is unclear as to how long it will take her to recover.

Jessica is a single mom and ran her small medical practice, A Thousand Ships Cosmetic Dermatology, her dream come true. She only went on her own 2 short years ago and is the sole support for her children. She had minimal insurance and her income stopped when she was injured. She has many bills and big medical expenses ahead of her.

She is intelligent, giving, kind, funny, beautiful and a mom above all else. Grayson was a gifted musician which is why we gratefully accepted the donation of The Rhythm Room as our venue. Grayson was smart, funny, talented and very insightful. Those of us who know Jessica & Grayson are heartbroken and are trying to help in this small way.....PLEASE join us.

UPDATE: Jessica is being moved to a rehab facility where she will finally begin therapy. She is excited that there is work out equipment. She has started to speak is even using short sentences and the word appreciate! Go Jess!

UPDATE: Jessica is off the respirator but has had a setback with feeding tube issues that caused an infection but is still making progress. She did finallly say a couple of choice words during a dressing change, curse words that were music to her mothers ears. :-) We are optimistic about her recovery but she has a very long way to go. Thank you all so much for caring and all your well wishes and prayers.

This auction of amazing donations from friends, patients and complete strangers will help lessen the burden the family now faces without their mothers support. 100% of funds received will go towards;

-Grayson’s funeral and related expenses
-Jessica’s medical expenses not covered by insurance
-Family expenses for the three kids as they go back to school and try to adjust to their altered lives.
