Two Tickets to Generation X Dinner at Wasabi

Would you like two seats to arguably THE most exclusive dinner ever held at Wasabi during the Noosa Food & Wine Festival whilst simultaneously contributing to a wonderful cause?

By placing the highest bid, you could win two seats at the table for this sold out 8-course dinner paired with matching beverages hosted Paul Carmichael, Executive Chef of Momofuku Seiobo, Sydney and prepared by 3 of Australia's finest young guns, Zachary Furst (Sous Chef, Ides, Melbourne), Lauren Eldridge (Pastry Chef, Stokehouse Group) and Charley Snadden-Wilson (Sous Chef, Embla, Melbourne) as they collaborate together for a unique dining event in Ibento, Wasabi's private dining venue.

With only yourselves, Paul and 10 other guests at the table, this is sure to be an event to remember and will take place at 6.30pm on Thursday 17 May 2018.

The lucky bidder will win:

* Dinner for two including matching beverages on Thursday 17 May at 6.30pm at Ibento, Wasabi's private dining room.
* An OzHarvest apron and OzHarvest cookbook signed by the dinner chefs and OzHarvest Founder and CEO Ronni Kahn.

Every dollar raised allows OzHarvest Sunshine Coast to deliver 2 meals to local community members in need.

About OzHarvest

OzHarvest was established in 2004 as a food rescue program to help feed those who are most vulnerable while at the same time addressing the issue of food wastage in Australia. OzHarvest now operates nationally, rescuing over 100 tonnes of food each week from over 3,000 food donors including supermarkets, farmers markets, wholesalers, producers, restaurants and corporate events.

OzHarvest Sunshine Coast launched in 2014 with a small cadre of dedicated volunteers. Over 50 volunteers now support operations that cover Gympie down the Coast and into the hinterland. With close to 30 suppliers donating food, OzHarvest currently supports 28 charities, schools, community centres and churches who convert the food into meals or provide food hampers to local community members in need.

Since inception, OzHarvest Sunshine Coast has rescued and redistributed over 150,000 kg of quality surplus food - the equivalent of 450,000 meals.

In addition to food rescue, OzHarvest nationally and locally is committed to helping reduce food waste through advocacy and education. It is striking that as a nation, we produce enough food to feed 60 million people – yet two million still go hungry every year and rely of food relief. Change starts at home. Wasting food wastes everything. We can each be part of the solution.
