Furbush Auction

Our auction is in support of the Furbush Children’s Benefit, which will be held on Saturday, June 7, at the Boston Teacher’s Union Hall from 7:30pm till 12:30am. There will be music, raffles and a continuation of the silent auction. And as all benefits like this have in common, it will be a chance for friends and neighbors, and even strangers willing to help out and support a good cause, to gather and enjoy themselves, while doing something wonderful – in this case, helping to bring added stability to two great little kids who really, truly need a helping hand at this point in their young lives.

NOTE: The online portion of the auction will close at 6 pm on Saturday, June 7, but we will continue to take bids at the event until 10:30 pm that night.

The Furbush Kids, Kayley 6 and Patrick 3 lost both of their parents two months and one day apart. Their Mom, Kristen Furbush died from an aggressive brain tumor that she had been in a painful battle with for over 5 months. Their Dad, Stephen Furbush went to sleep one night and never woke up. He had a massive heart attack that came without warning. After his wife Kristen passed on, Stephen Furbush set up a fund dedicated to making sure his children would have all that they needed as they grow up, as well as give them the opportunity to go to college. With his unexpected passing so soon, friends, family members and neighbors have stepped up to make sure the fund was still viable for this purpose.

Our auction in support of the Furbush Children Benefit will continue at tonight's event! We hope you can attend tonight, Saturday, June 7, at the Boston Teacher’s Union Hall from 7:30pm till 12:30am. There will be music and raffles in addition to the continuation of the silent auction. All in support of a truly worthy cause!
