FIFE FOLK MUSEUM - Silent Auction 2016

Our online SILENT AUCTION site will be open until noon on Saturday 29th October, when it will then go live at the Museum Weigh House Tearoom, where you can place your bid(s) throughout the day until our evening function. The Auction Bidding will close at 8.00pm prompt so do join us throughout the day on the Saturday, and for our evening function from 7.00pm onwards - for all the fun of the Auction.

All our Prizes and Promises will be on display in the Museum Weigh House Tearoom throughout Saturday 29 October until our evening function when you will be able to place your last minute bids “live”. Free tickets for our Stovies Supper will be available for you to collect in advance from the Museum Reception. Everyone welcome.

The money raised from our SILENT AUCTION is to support the running of the FIFE FOLK MUSEUM. We have a wonderful and varied collection, covering everyday rural and domestic life in Fife. We are a "window on Fife's past" with our displays and exhibitions, so your present support is very much appreciated to help us continue with this work.

Fife Folk Museum is located in High Street, Ceres. The Accredited Museum is in premises which consisted of the former Tolbooth of the Burgh of Barony, some early 19th century weavers’ cottages, and, across the road, a modern annexe. The Museum is situated within a conservation area and all its buildings on the south side of the High Street are A-listed, including the walled garden.

Thank you for your support and look forward to welcoming you to the LIVE AUCTION EVENT which is taking place in the Weigh House Tearoom at Fife Folk Museum in the centre of Ceres just after 12 noon on Saturday 29 October 2016. There will be a Volunteer taking bids throughout the afternoon and early evening, culminating in our final hour from 7.00pm until 8.00pm when all bidding will stop. A Stovie Supper is being served while collating the bids takes place.

All items and vouchers will be available for uplifting on completion of payment in full by cash, credit card or cheque. For those winners not available on the Saturday evening, payment can be made on the Sunday or Monday until 4.00pm.
