About Our Auction
We try to get the maximum value out of each bike donation we receive. In some cases, the bikes are worth more to our organization as a financial contribution. It costs us ~$30 to process a bike and give it to a kid. We believe each of these bikes are worth at least twice as much as that and would like to give our volunteers an opportunity to get a shop quality bike at a great price AND make a financial contribution to FB4K to support our mission. All bikes are in used condition and SOLD AS IS. We recommend having the bike professionally tuned up after purchase. Receive 20% OFF Labor for AT HOME bicycle service from The BikeMobile! www.thebikemobile.com Happy bidding!

About Free Bikes 4 Kidz Madison
Free Bikes 4 Kidz Madison is geared toward helping all people ride into a happier, healthier life by providing bikes to historically excluded communities and those facing financial challenges in southern Wisconsin.
We’re striving towards transportation equity and deepening meaningful relationships with communities of color and low income populations in Dane County, Milwaukee County, Rock County, and Racine County. As an added bonus, we keep thousands of bikes out of the landfill by repurposing them into rideable bikes.
We’ve now given away over 8,300 bikes to new bike owners who may have never had the opportunity to experience the joys of owning their own bike. We give bikes away through a network of nonprofit distribution partners and through schools—to date, 124 organizations have received hundreds of thousands of dollars in free bikes. Our operation depends solely on grants, financial donations from individuals and corporations, and donations of gently used bikes that are no longer needed.
