About Our Auction

Despite the “Shelter in Place” order, Animal Rescue of Tracy (ART) has stayed extremely busy, especially with homeless kittens. In 2020, we've adopted out over 600 dogs and cats. This translates to thousands of dollars spent on medical supplies & care for the animals until they are adopted. And we still have over 100 cats/kittens & dogs/puppies in our care waiting to find their “fur-ever homes”. ART is an all-volunteer organization, so EVERY penny raised goes right back to the animals. We can only continue our rescue efforts through the generous support of members of the community like you.

Our "bridal bouquets" include one bride's dress, 4-6 matching bridesmaid dresses, and more. There are only three price structures - $50, $75, and $100 for starting bids, an AMAZING 90% off retail value. Or for those who do not want to wait - $125, $150 and $175 to buy now, an INCREDIBLE 80% off retail value. These are BRAND NEW dresses donated by Macy's. There are also even MORE formal wear dresses, girls dresses and boys suits that will be up for grabs at our fashion show on Sunday, March 28. Tickets to attend are FREE and advance registration is required. Go to www.animalrescuetracy.org/pawject-runway. Free fully-loaded wag bags included.

About Animal Rescue of Tracy (ART)

Animal Rescue of Tracy (ART) was founded in 1994 to meet an increasing need for compassionate care for homeless cats and dogs. In 2003, we became a full-fledged 501c3 non-profit, all volunteer rescue. We have successfully found homes for nearly 7,000 cats and dogs and serve over 4500 families annually including adoptions, pet education, pet supplies for low-income families, and holiday troop packaged for K9 military handlers. Our student mentorship programs align with Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion. All students (whether public, private, charter, or home schooled) ages 14-17 regardless of their race, sex, gender, sexual orientation, disability, socioeconomic status, and religious beliefs are able to participate in our two programs. We also work in partnership with parents/guardians, schools and counselors on meeting the needs of our student volunteers. Our first program, PROMPTS, was awarded at the 2019 Mayor's Ball for teaching youth the pillars of stellar service by following best practices. Our second program is our Compassion to Action program in which our students sign up for an entire school year for service. Our students are all certified via our web-based training program, a prerequisite to volunteering at our Rescue. Our non-profit is the only year-round organization that offers youth opportunities to earn service hours to build their resume and/or fulfill high school graduation requirements. During their service at the Rescue, our students have earned amazing honors including Silent Servant Award by Peter M. Marsh Foundation (2021) and Emerging Youth by Tracy Chamber of Commerce (2020). Additionally, our adult volunteers have earned From the Heart by Tracy Chamber of Commerce (2021), Hometown Hero from Tracy Press (2020), and 9th year in a row for Best of Tracy for Pet Adoption/Rescue. We were also featured in the San Joaquin Magazine April issue featuring Strong Women (2022). In addition to our in-house student programs, we also provide assistance with Tracy High Agriculture/Scientific Academy job shadows, West High Space/Engineering projects, and Boy Scouts Eagle/4H projects.
