Dog Art for Old Friends

An EXCITING auction of decorated dogs created by renowned artists, from our local area and from across the country and Brazil. 100% of the proceeds generated by this auction will be used to expand the Sanctuary, adding intake and medical areas, volunteer and meeting areas, walking trails and housing for solitary dogs.

While providing a lifetime home for senior dogs, OFSDS strives to raise awareness of the joys and challenges of living with aging dogs. While never forgetting where these dogs have come from, we want to emphasize the positive aspects of their life in retirement. We currently have 50 dogs housed at our home-based Sanctuary campus and 150 living in Forever Foster Homes in the Middle Tennessee area where they will live for the remainder of their lives as loved family members while OFSDS provides their vetting and preventatives.
We do not concern ourselves with the quantity of time that they have left, rather the quality of the life that we can provide them for that time.
We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization.

For the live auction items (Buddy, Steve, Three Black Labs, Ashley, Tuff Stuff, American Picker, Red, Dougie Deville, Willie, Touch, Geezer):
After the online auction, this auction will be continued at the live auction on October 10 at the Omni Nashville. If you are the leading bidder, you will be notified via email at the end of the auction. The email informs the leading bidder they will need to continue bidding at the live event and also provides the Live Event Information. If you are unable to attend the live event, you will have the option of entering a Proxy Bid. This is the maximum amount that you are willing to pay for the item. We will increment the bid for you up to the amount of your proxy bid at the bid increment in use for that auction until you either win the auction or your bid is exceeded.

For Silent Auction items (the remainder of the items)
After the online auction, this auction will be continued at the silent auction portion of our event on October 10 at the Omni Nashville. If you are the leading bidder, you will be notified via email at the end of the auction. The email informs the leading bidder they will need to continue bidding at the October 10 event and also provides the Event Information. If you are unable to attend the event, you will have the option of entering a Proxy Bid. This is the maximum amount that you are willing to pay for the item. If the maximum bid on the item does not exceed your proxy bid, we will place your winning bid at the auction item increment above the highest bid on the item.
