We are so glad you're here! For the first time, you can preview and bid early for the items we'll have at Activate Good's Couture for a Cause event ONLINE!

Over 40 Triangle area businesses have donated items - gift certificates and catering packages, entertainment, shopping, spa services, and more! (You will still be able to bid in person AT Couture for a Cause on November 9. Or, if you cannot attend, you may enter a proxy bid here to compete with live event bidders.)

About our cause:
Activate Good has 160 nonprofit partners in the Triangle, coordinating and connecting them with volunteers to build homes for the homeless, mentor at-risk youth, use professional skills to create videos and websites to raise awareness, and so much more – boosting these causes’ efforts to tackle community issues.

Here are a few ways your money helps us:
• $25 helps obtain supplies for volunteer projects or Days of Service
• $75 keeps our volunteer matching website up for 3 months, so we can easily connect more volunteers to causes that need them
• $250 provides a mini-grant to a team of teens to carry out a service project they designed to tackle an issue they care about through our Activate Schools program

Thank you for visiting our auction page!! We are glad you are here. We're EXCITED to offer this fun, holiday-themed silent auction, Shop for Good, ONLINE!

Whether you're out and about or hanging out at home, you can bid and shop for your holiday gifts online from your computer or mobile phone this Black Friday (November 25) through Giving Tuesday (November 29) - all to support a great cause! When you Shop for Good, 100% of your purchase supports Activate Good's volunteer programs, which serve over 360 Triangle area charities and public schools.

Activate Good's mission is to activate volunteers to help charitable causes in our local community. Through our outreach efforts and online volunteer community, we help recruit and connect individuals, groups, and companies to fulfill volunteer needs in the Greater Triangle.

The need for volunteers in the Triangle is greater than ever, especially in this challenging economy. Four out of five nonprofits rely on volunteers to operate. Volunteers we’ve connected to local charities have built homes for the homeless, mentored at-risk youth, used professional skills to create videos and websites to raise awareness, and so much more – boosting these causes’ efforts to tackle community issues and saving them thousands of dollars.

We invite you to participate in our auction to which numerous local businesses have generously donated items - dining, entertainment, shopping, spa services, and more!

Specifically, here are a few ways your money helps us:
• $25 helps obtain supplies for volunteer projects or Days of Service.
• $100 hosts our volunteer matching website domain up for 12 months, so we can easily connect more volunteers to causes that need them.
• $250 allows us to train and equip 10 new volunteer project leaders to host projects with causes we serve throughout the year. Throughout the year, each project leader on average leads 10 projects to support area causes.
