Brushstrokes for Botany

Brushstrokes for Botany is an online art auction sponsored by Friends of Baxter State Park to support the Plants of Baxter State Park project, a five-year effort to inventory the flora of the Park. The auction will feature works by sixteen juried artists, as well as the four Baxter State Park Visiting Artists: Michael Boardman, Suzanne Savage Brewer, Evelyn Dunphy, and Michael Vermette. Fifty percent of the sale price of each painting will go to the artist, and fifty percent will support the Plants of Baxter State Park project. All paintings will be displayed during Governor Baxter Day in Bangor on July 24th.
