About Our Auction

The Bedford Crew club in Bedford, New Hampshire was organized in early 2010 with the intent to provide Bedford High School students with the opportunity to participate in the sport of rowing. We started with 27 rowers and have grown to over 80 rowers, both men and women, each season.
Rowing is a rapidly growing sport that requires dedication, hard work and conditioning. This sport encourages a strong degree of teamwork. Never turn away a student who wants to row, and make sure every rower has a seat in a boat on race day - these are our primary goals. Of course we can't fulfill that goal if we don't have the necessary boats and equipment. We do not get any funds from the school district. All of our money comes from dues and fundraisers.
With our passion for crew, our club is growing and becoming more competitive. We have recently joined the NEIRA (New England Interscholastic Rowing Association), which opens up a whole new world of competition. With this growth, there is a demand for more and better equipment, including a 4-person boat. The funds from the auction will go toward purchasing much needed equipment for the club.
