Art for Healing NYC Org. based in midtown Manhattan, in May 15 years old, bridges the gap to help visual and performing artists share the healing power of their art with the community via workshops and exhibitions, and performances. We have a 911 book we published in 2011 of the poetry, prose, lyrics and art of those who were here from the 5 boroughs and NJ and LI on that day of remembrance. Our readings are ongoing. We have a huge donated art collection we are selling below market value to raise funds to continue our FREE workshops and FREE book readings, consultation to artists and FREE gallery usage. We just received a Hossie Martin Foundation invitational GRANT! Thank you!
