A Night at the Races

In just a few short weeks, the Evergreen School District Foundation will host our annual auction and dinner gala at the Heathman Lodge in Vancouver. It is not too soon to start shopping for just the right hat to don for this horse-race themed event - A Night at the Races. Mark your calendars for March 29, 2014; the gates open at 5:30 pm; Tickets, tables, and sponsorship information can be found on the foundation's website.
Although there will be a wide variety of items available for both silent and live bidding at our event, we are getting the party started early with an online auction of a spectacular seven-night stay at the five-star Pronghorn Resort in Bend, Oregon. Enjoy your spring break in this amazing four-bedroom Club Level Residence on the 18th green of the Nicklaus course, generously donated by the Nutter Foundation.

Since 1996, the Evergreen School District Foundation has partnered with Evergreen Public Schools to provide additional resources where needed for its 34 schools and over 25,000 teachers. Since its inception, the foundation has awarded college scholarships, literacy grants, professional development funds for teachers, and real time aid in the form of the Principal’s Checkbook. Evergreen Public Schools is the second largest school district in the state of Washington. With its continuing growth and the limited state funding, the need for community support is critical.
