Our Cruisin' The Boulevard, Inc. auction features a one of a kind 24" x 30" wrap around canvas art designed and hand painted by local fine artist Elise Durenberger of Petaluma, CA. Elise spent over 200 hours in the design and painting of this one of a kind masterpiece.

During a recent interview with Elise it was learned she often found inspiration as she handcrafted this artwork while the movie played over and over in the backdrop of her studio. She explained “the movie, American Graffiti, is a national treasure. The more you watch it, the deeper and more immense George Lucas’ raw talent, the message and nostalgia of the movie become. The use of Petaluma as backdrop is as important of a character as any of its stars."

The artwork prominently features the '56 Thunderbird driven by the mysterious blond bombshell Suzanne Somers. "The most perfect dazzling creature I've ever seen". Those words were excitedly uttered by Curt Henderson played by the young Richard Dreyfuss who went on to say "Someone Roaming The Streets Wants Me!". The title of this years Cruisin' The Boulevard, Inc. annual production of Petaluma's Salute To American Graffiti.

All proceeds from this auction will assist Cruisin' the Boulevard, Inc., in its endeavor to support our community. For more information or to further support please visit us at americangraffiti.net.
