Twenty : 20 years | 20 stories | 20 necklaces

Twenty : 20 years | 20 stories | 20 necklaces is a collection of handcrafted necklaces that tell the stories of women who’ve been impacted by YWCA Muskoka over its twenty year history. Each piece is directly inspired by a quote pulled from stories submitted by women with a connection to the organization - including program participants, staff, clients and board members.

Created by artist Miranda Britton with the generous support of a Craft Project grant from the Ontario Arts Council, these necklaces are being auctioned off with 100% of the proceeds going back to YWCA Muskoka.

We envision a Muskoka in which all women and girls are thriving in a safe community of possibility.

YWCA Muskoka champions positive change for women and girls by working to:

• Prevent violence, particularly against women and girls;
• Reduce the impact of poverty;
• Advocate on issues that affect women and girls;
• Provide leadership on issues that affect older women; and
• Enhance organizational capacity.

All of this will be done while building bridges of connection with women throughout Muskoka
