Local Houstonian Connor Bazar needs your support!

Connor, is entering his senior year at Waltrip High School. He is an Eagle Scout, competitive swimmer, competitive gymnast and manager of the Waltrip High School girls’ volleyball team. Additionally, Connor has proudly represented Waltrip High School as their mascot, Rammy, for the past three years.

In August 2018, during gymnastics practice Connor experienced a fall that resulted in a C4 spinal cord injury. This level of injury means permanent, life-long changes for Connor and his mother, Deanna. Connor will spend his life as a quadriplegic with no use of his legs or hands and very limited use of his arms. If you know Connor, you know he doesn’t see this as a doomsday scenario, but rather another chance to accomplish his goals.

As a single mother, Deanna’s challenges are significant. The financial burden of caring for a child who is paralyzed is truly overwhelming. The expense of care, necessary equipment and accommodation is absolutely staggering. In an effort to offset a portion of the ever-growing financial costs, a fundraiser for Connor will be held on June 22, 2019. That’s where you come in!
