Our annual conference is critical in our efforts to raise money for Texas dietetic student scholarships. Unfortunately, due to COVID-19, the conference has been cancelled. Though there are plans to re-schedule at a TBD time and date, the Texas Academy Foundation board would love to continue our efforts to support the future of our profession during this unprecedented time.

HOW WILL I RECEIVE MY ITEMS IF I WIN?

The organization and various donors will be shipping straight to you. Please be sure to use your preferred address in your bid. Note that shipping delays may happen due to COVID-19.

HOW DOES BIDDING WORK?

Bids are anonymous, bidders will have numbers (instead of names displayed). You can bid in two ways:

-- Exact Bid- Enter the exact amount you wish to bid. The bidding will immediately move to this amount.
-- Proxy Bid- Allow 32auctions to bid for you. Just enter the maximum amount you wish to pay for this item. As other people bid on this item, 32auctions will bid for you up to your maximum amount. Your maximum bid amount will remain confidential unless you are outbid.

The auction is scheduled to end on May 18, 2020 at 05:00 PM CDT. At that time, winning bidder notifications will be sent to the highest online bidders.

Yes. There's a "buy now" option. Items have been marked 150% above value price to keep it competitive and move us towards our fundraising goal of $2,000.

Texas Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics Foundation (Texas Academy Foundation) is an education organization whose purpose is to raise money for scholarships for students in nutrition and dietetics. The Texas Academy Foundation operates separately from the Texas Academy of Nutrition & Dietetics (Texas Academy) and is governed by separate bylaws, standing rules, and officers. The Texas Academy Foundation operates as a 501 (c) (3) charitable organization. Contributions are tax deductible.

Since its conception in 1983, the Texas Academy Foundation has awarded over 664 scholarships and $485,416 towards our Texas dietetic students. Given the support of scholarship donors, industry companies and Texas Academy members, the Texas Academy Foundation will continue to grow and provide financial aid to our dietetic students.

The Texas Academy Foundation Goals are:
-- To provide financial support for graduate or undergraduate students -- in Nutrition and Dietetics in Texas.
-- To exercise prudent financial management to ensure safety and growth of funds.
-- To maintain or expand the funding base of scholarships through fund-raising efforts.
-- To award scholarships to outstanding students in Texas.
-- To facilitate development of new scholarships.
