WHY WE DO WHAT WE DO…
SOFTEC Education’s mission is to provide local, accelerated, 5-6 week industry-certified technical and communication skills training focused on creating immediately employable people who meet the current and future needs of employers.

SOFTEC's goal is to organically grow the workforce by engaging area youth before they graduate High School and leave their hometowns. We provide equal access to affordable, effective, accelerated education and training experiences that are provided in a safe environment and that lead directly to living-wage employment. Our industry training leads to expedited placement with Northwest Wisconsin and Central Minnesota businesses.

We are the example of forged collaborations of industry, nonprofit organizations, private business & government agencies. Our training impacts industry partners. By training potential candidates in less time and by producing candidates with 85% of industry required skillsets, employers SAVE MONEY through hiring prepared employees and by having fewer equipment breakdowns. SOFTEC meets industry needs!
