SCNV Online Silent Auction April 2015

The Skating Club of Northern Virginia (SCNV) is hosting a silent auction. We have a vast array of donations from restaurants, spas, museums, symphonies and various sporting events and activities. All proceeds will support SCNV programs and activities. The auction will begin on April 19, 2015 and will conclude on April 25, 2015.

SCNV is organized to support and develop amateur athletes in the sport of figure skating and to conduct local, regional or national amateur figure skating competitions. This includes, for such purposes, the awarding of scholarships to support and encourage figure skaters.

SCNV is privileged to be a U.S. Figure Skating Association home club in the community. We foster the advancement of all phases of figure skating and promote the spirit of friendship, respect and good sportsmanship among ice skaters.

Competitive skating requires dedication and deep pockets. Many of our skaters hit the ice at 5:30 am to practice before school, and return in the afternoons and evenings to hone their competitive edges. These are great kids who are community role models for their commitment, citizenship and ethics. They have big dreams, on the ice and in life. SCNV is dedicated to helping our skaters achieve these dreams through assisting with competition fees and training costs, promoting academic achievement and granting academic scholarships and fostering leadership and community activities.
