Rotary SHOW YOUR LOVE

All funds generated through the Show Your Love auction will be donated to the Skills for Success Program for youth "aging out of care" of foster care. The program offered by the Peel Children's Aid Foundation helps vulnerable youth over 16, who live independently to prepare for adulthood by giving them the tools to build a healthy lifestyle and achieve their goals. Funds generated through the Show Your Love auction will support tutoring and mentorship activities. Youth are directly involved in developing programs. The goal is to encourage youth to complete high school and pursue post secondary education.

During the COVID19 pandemic, many youth living on their own have
been laid off part-time work, and are risk for poverty and homelessness. Mentoring and support is particularly critical at this time.

Through successful fund-raising and events, The Rotary Club of Brampton supports programs and services for children, youth, and seniors. In partnership with other organizations, members offer leadership for community projects to build a vibrant City of Brampton and a peaceful and safer world.

As the largest service club in the city, The Rotary Club of Brampton is a champion in supporting children, youth, and seniors. Through fundraising projects such as the annual Rib ‘N Roll, bingo and special events, the Club has contributed to the enhancement of Gage Park, YMCA Swimming Pool, Sheridan College, St. Leonard’s Place, Regeneration and Peel Memorial Hospital. International projects have focused on clean water, literacy, and basic health care.

Rotarians around the world have are raising $150 million for the Polio Eradication Campaign, in cooperation with The Gates Foundation and World Health Organization. The wild poliovirus has been eradicated from all but two countries, Afghanistan and Pakistan, and Rotarians are committed to eliminating polio by 2025.

We are passionate about community. We support many youth programs and offer leadership development opportunities for all ages. Weekly meetings bring our members together for fellowship and opportunities for Service Above Self through Rotary.
