About Our Auction

This spring, students from Marshall University are hosting an online silent auction for Ronald McDonald House Charities of Huntington, as part of their graduation requirements. Their goal is to raise more than $10,000 to help sick children staying at RMH, by May 1.

In addition to some small fundraisers, this silent auction is the student's main event of the semester to help them achieve this goal. By participating in this auction, you are making a contribution that will help families facing a medical crisis.

If you are unable/ having complications using this site, the students will be hosting an "open house" Sunday, April 28th from 2pm-3pm at the Ronald McDonald House of Huntington for participants to attend.

About The Ronald McDonald House of Huntington Charities

RMH Huntington provides a “home away from home” for families with seriously ill children, receiving medical attention. Ronald McDonald Houses are located near hospitals that provide specialized care for children. Twenty-four hours a day, 365 days a year, our House in Huntington offers sick children and family members of children facing critical diagnoses, a refuge from the hospital - a room of their own with a comfortable bed, kitchen and laundry facilities, and toys for the kids.

Every day, we help families like Ben’s – a teenager with uncontrolled seizures due to epilepsy. And baby Kaia, born 10 weeks prematurely. And the many others with cancer, heart conditions, or survivors of car accidents. These families travel many miles to Hoops Family Children’s Hospital. Without Ronald McDonald House, they would have to stay in a hotel room – or worse, some families sleep in their cars. Please join us in offering help to families facing their worst nightmare – children with catastrophic illnesses. We believe keeping mom and dad close is the best medicine, but we can’t do it without help from generous participants like you.
