Hilton Head Post 42 Auction

The Arthur E. Wiley, American Legion Post 42, located on Hilton Head Island, SC, is hosting an on-line silent auction virtual fund raiser in March. The proceeds we raise will go exclusively to support our charitable programs that include an annual Oratorical Contest for high school students that focuses on the U. S. Constitution and Americanism. We sponsor youth for attendance at Boys State and Girls State Programs. American Legion Boys State and American Legion Auxiliary Girls State are summer leadership and citizenship programs for high school juniors, which focus on exploring the mechanics of American government and politics. We also support attendees at The South Carolina Law Enforcement Camp where youth receive orientation on law enforcement. Finally, we believe it is very important to support our local military veterans in need with financial assistance when they are in dire economic straits.
