NatureKids BC

The money we raise will be allocated entirely to our new Nature Club Fund. This fund will be accessible only to our volunteer nature club leaders around the province. It will help them provide memorable nature experiences for children by covering things like equipment rental, expenses for subject matter experts or room hire.

Our affordable, accessible programming provides regular, in-nature adventures for children throughout BC, ranging from invasive species removal, wildlife tracking, beach cleanups, bird banding, forest ecology, nature photography and wildlife surveys. Our volunteer leaders give countless hours of their time each year to help children experience the joy and wonder of nature – their work is well worth your support!

NatureKids BC exists to help children in British Columbia get outdoors to explore, play, learn about and take action for nature.

There has never been a greater need for organizations like ours. It is important that we actively help this generation of children get outdoors and connected with nature because so much is at stake if we don’t. Along with the many health benefits - including stress reduction, better sleep and improved mental and physical health - spending time outside also helps families develop stronger bonds and, very importantly, it teaches children about environmental stewardship and inspires them to protect our environment.
