Education is the Ultimate Investment for the Future!

The National Propane Gas Foundation (NPGF) Scholarship Fund was established in 1994 by a committed group of energized volunteers. Its purpose is to foster educational opportunities for the children of National Propane Gas Association (NPGA) and state propane gas association member companies by offering scholarships to colleges or technical/trade/vocational schools. The fund provides non-renewable scholarships in the amounts of $1,000 - $2,000.

Scholarships are funded from Scholarship Fund endowments earmarked for that purpose and managed by the NPG Foundation. The only limit on the number of scholarships granted is the size of the endowment and the rate of interest that it generates. The first scholarships were awarded in 1995.

The committee awarded $128,000 in scholarships to 95 awardees for the 2019-2020 academic year. For the 2020-2021 academic year, we plan to bestow at least 90 scholarships totaling over $122,000.

Welcome to the Online, Silent Auction for the NPGF Scholarship Fund. We have found some fabulous items on which you can bid, so bid often and bid high! All online bids will close at 5 p.m. on Sunday, February 8, 2015. The auction will culminate at a reception on February 9, which is part of the NPGA Board of Directors Meeting in San Diego, CA.

Not able to attend the February meeting in person, not a problem! The auction will re-start at 5:30 p.m., on Monday, February 9; and on-site proxies will monitor the items on which you wish to continue bidding. Bid Sheets will be updated by these proxies, based on your instructions. The live auction will close at 7p.m., and all winners will be notified via email by February 10, 2015.
