Save the Pond..The 2022 Moody Pond Challenge

It's year three of the Friends of Moody Pond efforts to eradicate the invasive Eurasian Watermilfoil from the pond, a beloved community resource. In the past two years we have been able to raise enough money from our generous TriLakes community to hire professional divers to harvest the milfoil from the pond bottom and we've made great strides in doing so. But it's an ongoing process so, once again, we are launching the Moody Pond Challenge Online Auction, a fun and successful way for you to contribute to our efforts. Our Goals

To preserve, and protect the quality of the water of Moody Pond, the Moody Pond neighborhood, and environment surrounding it.
To educate and assist members and the general public to use Moody Pond in a responsible manner, without degrading the natural state of the pond, the surrounding land, or the neighborhood.
To improve the water quality of the pond and eradicate invasive species.
Establish beneficial relationships with state and local governments and agencies and the surrounding neighborhood as a means to improve the health and management of the Pond, its shoreline, and watershed.
Monitor progress toward stated goals and seek to continuously improve operational strategies to best achieve these goals.
Communicate progress to the Pond community.
