MAD Fundraiser - St Kilda Road

Brilliant image painted by renowned artist and St Bede's College teacher Damien March

St Kilda Road is a neo-expressionistic depiction of the iconic Melbourne street on a winters day. A mixed media composition containing acrylic, sand, pumice and resin create a unique visual experience. An energetic palette knife technique is used to make sharp contrasting lines and surfaces. The work is finished in an elegant dark charcoal floating frame to accentuate the textures.

We are raising funds for Mission Action Day (MAD) to support our volunteer student programs in India and Thailand. Our students aim this year is to raise $100,0000 which will assist in the building of homes in India and school buildings in Thailand for the poor and marginalized.
