As a dedicated supporter of artistry and goodwill all over the world, Liquitex is proud to announce our involvement in "Heroes After Dark", a special event set to kick off this year's New York Comic Con on October 5 at the Highline Ballroom in Chelsea, New York. With the event taking place during National Anti-Bullying Awareness Month, NYCC will be celebrating young people who are making a difference in their communities - real-life "superheroes".

As a highlight of this event, Liquitex brand ambassador Sebastien “Mr. D” Boileau will paint an original Gotham styled New York City skyline live on the main stage. "Mr. D" has generously agreed to donate his work of art to benefit DoSomething.org, the event's official non-profit partner. The piece of art will be auctioned post-event at www.32auctions.com/Liquitex with the proceeds going to young people who are making a difference in the community, hopefully encouraging others to do the same.

The piece of art is 6 feet wide by 5 feet high (Two separate 3' x 5' canvases put together to create one piece). The medium used is acrylic paint, specifically Liquitex Soft Body, Ink and Spray Paint.
