About Our Auction

In eighth grade our students plan to take an international trip to either China or Costa Rica, depending upon the world language that they study. Beginning in kindergarten our students study either Spanish or Mandarin. This study also includes cultural and historical competency of the language and countries that speak the language.

Seventh graders at Lab Middle have been working to familiarize themselves with the culture, history, geography, and people of China and Costa Rica. From their study they have each created an auction piece to show their connection to the country. Each piece has a direct connection to the country to which they will travel and tells a story about it.

All proceeds will directly support the international trip and reduce the cost associated with travel.
