UNICEF Kilimanjaro Climb for Kids

In August, I’m hiking Mt Kilimanjaro to raise funds for UNICEF Australia. I’m a UNICEF employee and hope to raise $7,000 for UNICEF’s vital programs around the world. By supporting this adventure you'll be funding UNICEF programs that will help provide clean water, education facilities, health support and vaccinations to children who need it the most.

At a time when Australia is giving the lowest amount of overseas aid, the funds we raise at UNICEF and the work we do is more important than ever. Let's show our global neighbours that we are generous and we do care.

This quote by Nelson Mandela really sums up my motivation for the work I do - "As long as poverty, injustice and gross inequality persist in our world, none of us can truly rest." This trip is the perfect mix of my passions for making a difference, seeing more of the world and having an adventure of a lifetime. Thanks so much for your support!!

A huge thanks to all the wonderful sponsors who have donated amazing items for this silent auction and the raffle prizes. I've been blown away by the generosity and support.

About UNICEF Australia

UNICEF, the United Nations Children's Fund, believes all children have a right to survive and thrive. We work in 190 countries and territories to protect the rights of every child, every day, with a focus on those who are most disadvantaged and excluded. We’re working to save their lives. We’re working to keep them safe from harm. We’re working to give them a childhood in which they’re loved, protected, healthy, educated and able to fulfil their potential. And we never give up.

UNICEF Australia’s purpose is to support UNICEF's global mission through upholding the UNICEF Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child (CRC). We do this by raising funds from the Australia public to support children through delivering long-term international development programs, responding to humanitarian emergencies and working with governments to advocate for children's rights internationally and within Australia.
