Jann Arden Golf Tournament in Support of Enviros

Thank you for taking part in the Jann Arden Cross-Canada Virtual Charity Golf Tournament in Support of Enviros.

Proceeds from the tournament and silent auction will be matched up to 50% by Shaw Birdies for Kids presented by AltaLink and used to keep the 30% of the children, youth and families that we serve who are Indigenous connected to their culture and community. Besides being the right thing to do, this helps them develop the healthy sense of identity required to grow into healthy, independent adults and to heal from their intergenerational trauma.

Enviros began in 1976, when a group of social workers and youth walked into the Ghost Wilderness and built a school. Today, Enviros operates three live-in programs in Calgary, Alberta, an open custody program for young offenders, and programs for foster care, FASD support and assessment, youth transitioning to adulthood, and respite care. We also operate the Shunda Creek wilderness addiction treatment program for males aged 18 to 24 in the Nordegg, Alberta area.
